Prophetic Insight Into 2006 I wanted to begin by sharing what I feel the Lord has spoken to me regarding the year 2006. There are a lot of words going forth and we thank the Lord for confirming His word through his people and prophetic. I believe they are probably all relevant whether for the church as a corporate body or individually. Whatever the case, it is good to hear that people are open to hear what the spirit of the Lord is saying. We simply need to have discernment to know what is for us personally and what applies to the body as a whole. For several weeks now, the Lord has been saying He wants a greater portion of our life…He wants our time and talents. He is raising the bar of accountability. This is not for the sake of making us slaves to His every command, in as much as He wants to put something into our hands. He wants us to walk in great victory and breakthroughs. As a matter of fact, this will be a year of unprecedented breakthroughs. I believe we are passing from the season of “hope”, so to speak, and “expectation”, to a season of “actuality”. We are coming into a season of manifestation. We will open a door and what we have been praying for, for months and years, will suddenly be staring us in the face. It will take us by surprise to the point of overcoming us. The blessings of the Lord will overtake us. Prophetic promises will also manifest. It will be a glorious time for the righteous. However, 2006 will be a challenge on the body of Christ…both physically and spiritually. We will be stretched to go beyond ourselves as we realize we cannot make it without Christ. It is almost as if the Lord is bored with the humdrum of our lackadaisical, faithless, whiny, powerless, defeated, joyless, lukewarm, compromising, selfish, walk with Him. Are you with me or against me? He is saying. Are you in the game or not? Get off the sidelines and stop wearing the banner of “ Christian” and walk in the fullness of the Spirit and the promises as commands of the Lord! He is calling us to a level of purity…. To get to the point where we grieve when He grieves and laugh when He laughs. He wants our eyes and ears to be ever conscious of what He is saying in this day and age. Not so much to the point where we look for the darkness to dispel it. Rather we seek to speak and release truth, love, and grace to every situation. Just recently I invited a young man to come and clean my carpets. I only used him because he had come with a great referral from a trusted friend. When he arrived, I did not really want to be bothered …meaning I was not in the mood for extensive conversation because it was very early in the morning and I had instantly felt when I opened the door that he had a closed spirit. I had determined that I would be pleasant but simply wait while he cleaned the carpet and pay for his services when he had completed the job. There are a lot of Christian books and music cd’s in my home. When he had worked his way into the room where I was waiting, he said he noticed I seemed to be interested in Christian apologetics. I did not know how quite to respond so I said yes that I was a believer. He asked if my grandmother had led me to the Lord and I said no, but that I had been raised in a Christian home. He mentioned that he believed the Lord allows us to converse with our dead relatives. I remained quiet because I had never really thought about this subject nor did I care if I could talk to my dead grandmother. The only person I want to talk to is the Lord himself. I believe I will see her when I get to heaven but it was not a subject I had spent time researching. Anyway, this gentleman went on to say that he believes Christians should act like Christians. He was in fact a Christian himself. (He attended an extremely conservative church that spends more time insuring rules are not broken instead of sharing the gospel of Christ in love and grace.) There was a very strong religious spirit coming forth from this young man. He said Christians should not watch porn or cheat on their spouses. If they sin, they are really not born again at all. There should be no divorce and Christian book stores should not be open on Sundays…etc. For 30 minutes he became more and angrier at Christians who did not live up to the word of God. He was so angry that my carpet was remarkably clean as he aggressively pushed the shampooer across the carpet. He had broken out in a sweat. In the meantime, I simply nodded in agreement but not once did I enter in an argument with him. I was pondering his words and asking the Lord what was the purpose of this entire dialog. Initially I had wanted nothing to do with the gentleman….but I now knew that the Lord had a purpose…He always does. While he was talking, I begin to ask the lord how did He want me to minister to this young man. There was no compassion or love of God coming forth from him. As I wrote a check to pay for his services I simply said to him….” I agree with everything you are saying. I believe we are to be obedient to God’s word and walk in truth and integrity. However, our main objective is to bring people into the kingdom of God. We do this by sharing the love of Christ not pointing out everything we believe is wrong with others. It is the kindness of the Lord that draws people to repentance. My goal everywhere I go is to ask the Lord how I can be a blessing”. Immediately the countenance of this young man’s face changed. He apologized for his critical behavior and after a moment he said..: you know, I am going to ask the Lord how can I be a blessing to my next customer.” I told him that he had now captured the heart of the Father and that is to love. This young man received my gentle and understanding corrective word because I listened to him and I shared the correction in love and not in judgment or argument. There was no need for me to argue biblical truths. We must be willing for the Lord to bring us into teachable moments. As the young man walked out the door, I asked the Lord what did He want to show me in the hour that this man was in my home. He said that although this man lacked understanding of the power of the Holy Spirit and the grace of God…he was absolutely right in one simple thing. We are to walk in purity and take our hearts and minds off of the filth of this word. We must walk in integrity. The word says that the pure in heart shall see God. We have to determine in our hearts if this is something we really desire. The Lord is asking using 2006… do you want to see more of the glory of God in your life? Do you want to walk in healing and wholeness? Do you want to hear what the spirit of the Lord is saying to the church and to yourself? He is saying…church, stop being so lazy and expect everything to come to you. He says, earnestly seek me. Earnestly pray, earnestly love, earnestly give, earnestly forgive, earnestly rejoice, earnestly praise, earnestly intercede for others, earnestly be a friend, earnestly contend for the faith, earnestly share the gospel, earnestly seek understanding and wisdom and knowledge. Earnestly study my word, earnestly seek for opportunities to shine for Me. Earnestly seek opportunities to humble yourselves. Earnestly exalt the name of Jesus! 2006 is all about JESUS and Him alone. The Lord is calling OFF the spirit of laziness and the “it is all about me...my needs, my desires, my prayers, my ministry”. He is calling for everyone to do their part! I was ministering at church last Sunday and a woman and her husband approached me for prayer. Now they are both leaders in the ministry that the Lord has placed within them. They are strong people of faith but they almost, without fail, seek me to pray for them. I love ministering to others so I am not put off when this request is made. But I felt the Lord say to me, no. Ask them to pray for you. You see,the tables are turning and the Lord is calling each of us to set the captives free. Not just a select few. Those that have been walking a compromising walk with the Lord will find themselves no longer able to live in peace. They will become easily agitated and despondent. The Lord is forcing them to choose this day whom they will serve. Yep, it is going to be an interesting year for the body of Christ. It will be a year of extremes. There will be extreme joys and breakthroughs and also some extreme darkness. The Lord is forcing people to come off the fence. Christians will need to earnestly discern to love those that have been hurt, back into the fullness of the kingdom. God is determined to get the glory one way or another. We must choose. Many of you are coming to a breaking point but you don’t know what to do about it. The Lord is causing people to reflect on their plight and take an inventory of their lives. It is quite amazing. Everywhere I go there are people that are getting evil reports and it is causing them to seek answers. Body of Christ, we must be prepared to share the hope of our salvation and the reason for our peace. 2006 is also a year of longevity. In other words, the Lord is saying will you stay in the race for the long run or are you doing your normal start and stop routines. This will be the most difficult for most. Hosea 10:12 says “ Sow with a view to righteousness, reap in accordance with kindness, break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord until He comes to rain righteousness on you. We tend to resolve at the beginning of the year, but lose hope and momentum as time passes. However, the Lord is saying this year, if you keep your mind stayed on me, you will walk in so many miracles that even the enemy will have to stop and take notice. Why? Because…. A mind stayed on Christ, walks in a belief that cannot be shaken and their faith brings forth the actuality of the promises. Purity, purity, purity …..that is the word for this season. The pure in heart shall see God. Those that chose not to defile themselves with the wicked will experience uncanny discernment. You will see things more clearly and be able to provide Godly counsel and wisdom to those seeking it. Like Daniel, you must be focused. When we are determined and focused on the task before us, we don’t quit until we see it completed. Daniel purposed in his heart in Daniel 1 :8 that he would not defile himself with the kings food. One was because he was being obedient to the Lord and the other was because there was simply no need to. He knew that the Lord would provide his daily bread. He did not have to walk in or partake of that which was considered at that time unclean. We do not have to watch filth on TV or engage in unwholesome conversations. It grieves the Holy Spirit and I believe it cause us to lose time…things get put on hold while the Lord deals with our unrighteous behavior…as typical for a willful child and parents. The love does not cease but we may get put in “time out”. I have been believing the Lord for so many things to come to pass over the years. I don’t want to experience anymore delays. Do you? God is not going to, but He has already raised the bar for 2006. The Lord is really challenging us to become more learned about Him…or should I say hunger and thirst after righteousness! For those, He will satisfy, yet have them continually want for more. They will grow fat in the spirit. It will be awesome. They will lay their hands on the sick and they shall recover. There will be a great anointing flowing across denominational lines and Godly networks established. People will be surprised, but God is raising up bridge-builder people. These bridge-builder people have and will continue to establish churches in record numbers. Those that were dropping denominational titles to be trendy, will be offended by these bridge-builder people because their hearts were not pure. Their ministries will shrink while those that truly have the heart of the Father will prosper. Those that have been on the sidelines will come to the forefront. People will be taken by surprise by the seemingly hidden talents and giftings of others. Why? Because they have been too self-involved and have not seen through the eyes of the Lord. They have walked in too much envy and have scoffed. But the Lord is shifting the tables and the scoffers will call these new emerging Christians for counsel and be led by them to walk the walk they neglected to walk in for so many years. This will be a busy and fruitful time for the obedient believer. But the focus must remain of Christ. It will be a war of the worlds. Get ready for battle. That is the reason why purity is so important now. It strengthens the vision. You really need to be able to see God at this time so you won’t despair. Those that have talked a lot will become more subdued. Those that have been silent will be more vocal. Ministries will see changes in leadership. Those that were mentees will become mentors. Intercession will increase and what is prayed will see immediate answers to their prayers. Time will go by fast. The year will be over soon and today will seem like a blur. It will seem as though the events of the day just happened when in fact it was weeks ago. It will become more important than ever to record the events of the seasons of our lives. One to pass onto the generations that come after us and the other to keep us walking in encouragement and know that the Lord is faithful. The expressions of love will increase from true believers and they will receive great love both from the Father God and from strangers. However, the focus will remain on Him. There will be a greater desire to bask in the presence of the Lord. The glory clouds will actually hover over people. If you have the eyes of the spirit, you will see it. It will amaze you. I tell you this, the Lord will manifest himself like never before. He wants to show His glory in the United States in a greater way than you can ever imagine that takes place in the third world and developing countries. Pray for your health and be deliberate in your diets. The enemy will seek whatever way he can to stop you from experiencing the goodness of the Lord. Be focused in every area of your lives. Be earnest. Be steadfast. Be focused. Be immovable. Always abounding. The old will become new. The elderly will experience renewed vigor. The body of Christ will begin to function as it should, that is utilizing the gifts of every part. The word of God will once again be the focus and not just experience. The Lord will make wrong things right and justice will abound. The judicial system will undergo changes that will make the righteous glad. Those that have been unjustly accused will receive pardons…almost immediately. The wicked will see the justice of God, also almost immediately. Purity….says the Lord. I want to show myself to my people. I want them to see me. Prayer ministries will grow. No longer will there be prayer groups of the same old “faithfuls”. People will want to pray because the Lord is turning their hearts toward home. 2006, though it will be a year of extremes, it will also be a “sugar” year. A time of “sweetness”. People will be kinder and have better attitudes. Humility will spread over the body of Christ as purity reigns. You see, when we see the Lord high and lifted up…we don’t see ourselves. We see how unworthy we are compared to Him. But He gently scoops us up into His arms and loves on us. He sees us as He made us…in His image. We will see God. I encourage you meditate on this precious beatitiude…for the pure in heart SHALL see GOD. Hear Yolanda Fields, Founder & CEO, Live On The Air! For the man who sent a request concerning whether God is real and wanted clarity: The image above is a picture one of the children drew. You are the man in the center of the drawing. "You will know that Jesus is real and become saved. God will bless you with a job and you will be blessed later in life with a companion and have a home." Age 11 To the person who wants to lose 100 pounds:"God will set you free and you will lose at least 14 pounds in the beginning". Age 11 To the person who sent in a request concerning a 17 year old girl in danger: "The girl will be safe and the father will be sent to jail and not escape." Age 11 Canada - April 9, 2005 Please keep in mind that these are children, and that each person should always seek the Lord for confirmation. It is our continued obedience to the Lord and walking in His will that brings prophetic words to pass. We ask that you use grace and mercy, as no one is perfect - the children are simply relaying what God is saying to them. They want you to be blessed and greatly encouraged! (January 2003) Recently God has placed it on our hearts to pray for these countries. If you are (or have a contact in these locations) and have specific prayer requests, either personal or global, please send us an email. We would like to establish a permanent contact so we will know if prayers are being answered. We would love to hear from you! Who knows, maybe we can set up a visit to your country! Amen! Keep checking our site: we will be praying for more countries as the Lord leads. Earnest - A Serious and Intense Spirit
I thank God for the times I spend alone with Him in the still of the hour. It is in those moments He blesses me with His words and shows me His secrets. Worship and praise services are great. But it is when the music stops and the crowds are gone, I am left alone with the thoughts of my mind or shall I say…the truths of my heart. When I earnestly, with an intense and serious spirit, seek Him, He gives so much revelation that I am often overwhelmed with the awesomeness yet simpleness of God's plan for me. The more fervently I seek Him, the more I find Him. He answers in dreams, visions, scriptures, and confirmation through conversations with friends, etc... My prayers are most effective, (He answers or better yet, I hear Him) when I pursue Him with such intensity that I am often left exhausted. It is not the hasty prayer I mutter before I wolf down my food in starvation or the prayer for a safe flight when I am rushing to catch a flight on time. The answers and revelation came when I humble myself just like Solomon did in II Chronicles chapters 6 through 9. Solomon made an altar or let's just say, a specific place of dedication to God. He prayed earnestly and God responded with fire! (Whew) The Lord appeared to him in a vision and told him his prayer was heard. The Lord goes on to say that He has chosen the temple that Solomon built for Himself. God told Solomon that He would now pay attention to their prayers! How great that was. How do you think Solomon felt? I would have been dancing up and down like a kid in reverence, awe, and glee. But, there was a catch. God told Solomon that He would do those things only if Solomon walked with and obeyed Him. Solomon must have said yes because he was blessed and highly favored of the Lord. Let's look at Solomon's prayer: (II Chronicles 6:14 - 17)
As a result, the glory of the Lord filled the place so much so that all of Israel saw and fell on their knees in worship to the Lord. Isn't that what we want? To have the glory of the Lord so strong on our lives that others will see and fall on their knees in repentance and praise to the Father? Sure you do! The Israelites partied (oops…praised) God for days and Solomon was given wealth and most importantly…wisdom. In I Chronicles 28:9-10, David told Solomon to be obedient to the Lord and he would be blessed. Proverbs 11:27 says he that diligently seeks God shall receive favor. I truly believe God wants us to labor for and after Him. Upon doing so, He will give us rest and even extra stuff. (Matthew 11:28, Matthew 6:33.) In Matthew 5:5 He says "blessed are those that hunger and thirst after rightousness for they shall be filled". God is our righteousness. When we hunger and thirst after Him, he fills or satisfies that hunger with Himself. Amen! He rewards us for diligently seeking Him. Hebrews 11:6. In Hebrew, "diligently" means to crave or search out! Even Jesus prayed with an earnest spirit in Luke 22:44. David cried out to God DAILY (Psalms 86:3,12) and praised God with all his heart. This is obviously a topic we can discuss for quite some time. But let me just leave you with just a few key points to ponder. Lesson 2: Ask yourself:
Truly seeking God means to do so with all our hearts, mind and soul. Those that "earnestly" seek Him will definitely find Him! Trust me.
